Served as a wholesale broker for national and regional (Western) commercial and residential contractors and developers with over $2 billion in combined annual revenues. Started as a wholesaler for national brokerages, then founded his own company in 2007. Sold his company in 2016 after reaching over $500 million in annual premium.

Assisted his residential and commercial construction clients in the placement of CGL primary and excess policies, as well as Builder’s Risk coverage. He was instrumental in the creation of close of escrow and project-specific policies for residential developers, as well as tail policies to cover their residual risk. He has extensive experience in wrap policies (OCIP and CCIP) and has placed primary and excess towers of insurance with over $250 million in limits, working with domestic, European, and Lloyd’s markets.

Placed the largest national book of business with Scottsdale Insurance Company for ambulances, as well as establishing programs in general liability and professional errors and omissions coverage, including medical malpractice.
